HANDS ON ROCK

Hands on Rock is a heritage site located 30km from Cassilis. It’s a picturesque walk-through bushland to view the stencils of hands made by the Wiradjuri people who originally occupied the central-west. It is an easy walk for about 400 metres before it slopes up steadily to the rock cliffs & viewing platform. One of the features of the walk is the relatively unspoiled forest that surrounds the area. It is typical of the vegetation that once covered this part of the ranges. 


THE DRIP 

The Drip is a spectacular scenic walk along the Goulburn River. Its located only a short 35km drive from Cassilis. The walk follows a sandstone gorge with stunning rock formations & amazing natural diversity. There are numerous places to paddle, swim or picnic along the way.  


COOLAH TOPS NATIONAL PARK 

The Coolah Tops National Park is an 80km drive from Cassilis. It’s a great place for families, walkers, bikers, 4WD enthusiasts & campers to explore. The park is a beautiful landscape of tall eucalypt trees & has great walking trails, spectacular views and magnificent waterfalls.
